In 2024, Alabama Shakes frontwoman Brittany Howard released her second studio album “What Now” and subsequently hit the road for a co-headlining tour with Michael Kiawanuka.

Then, to close the year, she played a one-off show with her former band at Tuscaloosa, AL’s Bama Theatre.

Now, less than two months later, the roots-y rock star is returning to her roots.

This summer, Howard and Alabama Shakes will embark on their first official tour since 2017.

Over the course of 30 concerts from July through September, the Alabama-based trio are scheduled to hit theatres, amphitheaters, fairgrounds, festivals and stadiums with special guests Sam Evian, El Michels Affair, Shannon & the Clams, Lee Fields and others joining them on select dates.

Toward the end of the nationwide run, they’ll drop into Queens, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

“We didn’t want this to entirely be a look back,” Howard said in a press statement. “We wanted it to be as much about the future as the past. So we have a bunch of new music that will be released soon. We just can’t wait to experience that ‘feeling’ when we start playing those first few notes of ‘Don’t Wanna Fight’ or ‘Gimme All Your Love.’”

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Alabama Shakes shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, Feb. 14.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
