You’re going to want to hail a “Big Yellow Taxi” ASAP.
Counting Crows and The Gaslight Anthem recently announced they’re co-headlining ‘The Complete Sweets Tour’ at amphitheaters, pavilions, casinos, music halls and auditoriums all over North America and Europe from June through November.
Along the way, the pair is slated to make five New York and New Jersey stops.
First, Adam Duritz and Brian Fallon’s groups will swing into Chautauqua, NY’s Chautauqua Amphitheater on Saturday, June 21.
After that, they’ll hit Verona, NY’s Turning Stone Resort Casino on Sunday, June 22, Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Saturday, June 28, Wantagh, NY’s Jones Beach Theater on Sunday, June 29 and Atlantic City, NJ’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Saturday, July 5.
“Every night has a different set list,” Duritz, 60, said in an Instagram Reel. “Tell us what songs you want to hear. I can’t promise anything but maybe we’ll play them. That’s the best I can do.”
The tour comes in support of the Counting Crows’ forthcoming eighth studio album “Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets!” due out May 9. This record will be an expansion of the septet’s 2021 four-track EP “Butter Miracle, Suite One.”
Prior to the tour, the band will headline the 2025 High Water Festival on Sunday, April 27 in North Charleston, SC. Other big names on the bill for the roots-y two-day extravaganza include Lord Huron, Mt. Joy, Arcade Fire, Trampled By Turtles and Julien Baker and Torres.
Best of all though, tickets are shockingly affordable to catch Counting Crows and The Gaslight Anthem live this year.
At the time of publication, some seats were going for as low as $26 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Other shows have tickets going for anywhere from $33 to $494 before fees.

This year’s High Water Festival goes down at North Charleston, SC’s Riverfront Park on April 26-27. In addition to the big names listed above, Waxahatchee, The Backseat Lovers, Amos Lee, Flipturn and The War and Treaty will also handle headliner duties.

Counting Crows new music
As mentioned above, Counting Crows released the “Butter Miracle Suite One” EP in 2021 teasing a full album. The four-song compilation — featuring the mellow “The Tall Grass,” gorgeous anthem “Elevator Boots,” hard-charging “Angel of 14th Street” (complete with an ebullient sax solo) and epic Springsteen-esque “Bobby and the Rat-Kings” — is the precursor to 2025’s “Butter Miracle, Complete Sweets!”
After four years of near radio silence in regards to this collection of songs, it was announced it will officially hit shelves on May 9. To accompany the news, Counting Crows dropped the cheery single “Spaceman In Tulsa,” which is equal parts goofy radio rock staple and introspective piano ballad.
In short, it’s quintessential Counting Crows.
