The Dallas Cowboys almost pulled off an upset in week one of the 2025 NFL season.

On Thursday, Sept. 4, Brian Schottenheimer’s squad — now without standout linebacker Micah Parsons after a shocking blockbuster trade — almost surprised the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on the road.

Unfortunately, the club fell just short, losing 24-20.

However, given that Dak Prescott’s team is coming off a disappointing 7-10 2024 season, this close game felt like a turn for the better (well, except for Jalen Carter’s spit heard ’round the world).

“I’m so proud of this team, I really am proud,” owner Jerry Jones said after the game, according to NBC Sports. “I’m so impressed with [Schottenheimer]. It just makes me sick that he didn’t win this game and I know what it meant to him.”

Scottenheimer and co. will get a chance to vindicate themselves in week two at their home AT&T Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 14 when they take on Russell Wilson’s 0-1 New York Giants.

Going into the NFC East battle, America’s Team is the six-point favorite, USA Today reports. Either way, whomever wins gets out of the division cellar.

After that, the tenacious Texas franchise will host the dangerous Green Bay Packers (Sept. 28), upstart Washington Commanders (Oct. 19), reigning Super Bowl champion/week one foe Philadelphia Eagles (Nov. 23) and take part in a Thanksgiving showdown with the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs (Nov. 27).

Better yet, some of them are dirt cheap.

Because the Cowboys offer standing room only tickets there are passes for entry going for just $30.54 including fees on Vivid Seats (hence the “cheap tickets” from the attention-grabbing headline above).

However, if you want to park yourself in the stands, you’ll have shell out a bit more.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for any one home game seat was $67 including fees.
