Dominic Fike is unapologetically honest.

In a surprisingly candid 50-minute interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the 27-year-old star explained how he was often “f—ed up” on the set of HBO’s “Euphoria,” split up with co-star Hunter Schaefer and is now sober.

Now, having cleared the air, the “3 Nights” singer and Paul McCartney collaborator is about to embark on his 28-concert ‘Don’t Stare At The Sun Tour.’

That includes a gig at Brooklyn, NY’s Prospect Park Bandshell on Wednesday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m. as well as a headlining spot at Seattle, WA’s Day In Day Out Festival with Bon Iver, Leon Bridges and Willow on Aug. 12-13.

“Sunburn,” Fike’s assured, second album, was released on July 7, 2023.

Over 15 tracks, Fike displays his trademark lo-fi, multi-layered joy on tracks like the ebullient opener “How Much Is Weed?” and the danceable “Sick.”

However, the undeniable standout is “Mona Lisa,” a catchy single with the unforgettable refrain “Love is when you try to place it out your mind/ But you can’t turn the radio down.”

Now, that’s writing.

Don’t miss out on the heartfelt, acoustic closer “What Kinda Woman” either. It doesn’t sound like anything else on the record but is a fitting capper to the emotion on display throughout.
