Controversial country star Jason Aldean is going to try his act in a few big towns next year.

From July through October 2024, he’ll embark on his recently extended ‘Highway Desperado Tour’ with special guests Hailey Whitters, Lauren Alaina, Chase Matthew, Austin Snell and Dee Jay Silver joining him on select dates.

That includes a handful of gigs in New York and New Jersey.

First up, he’ll take his stable of hits to Syracuse, NY’s Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on Thursday, July 11.

After that, Aldean will headline at Wantagh, NY’s Jones Beach Theater on Friday, July 12, Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Saturday, July 13, Darien Center, NY’s Darien Lake Amphitheater on Thursday, Aug. 1 and Camden, NJ’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on Friday, Aug. 2.

That’s not all, though.

He’s also slated to co-headline the star-studded, traveling ‘Rock The Country Festival’ with Kid Rock.

“(It’s) a music festival like no other for hard working folks who love this country!” Kid Rock shared on Instagram.

And if you want tickets for any of Aldean’s 2024 shows, you can snatch them up as soon as today.

Although inventory for the solo tour isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, Dec. 1, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Jason Aldean new music

On Nov. 3, Aldean released his 11th studio album “Highway Desperado.”

Made up of 14 tracks, the record is unapologetically Aldean. With his Southern drawl, lyrics about drinkin’ and raisin’ hell as well as the now infamous “Try That In A Small Town,” which drew flak for its racist message, fans know what they’re getting when they listen to the Georgia native.

Want to hear for yourself?

You can find the record in its entirety here.

Jason Aldean controversy

In July of this year, Aldean released the music video for his polarizing single “Try That In A Small Town,” that may have had a pro-racism and pro-lynching message.

Over the course of three minutes, the 46-year-old country star displayed images of George Floyd protests projected onto Tennessee’s Maury County courthouse, which has a bit of historical significance.

Said courthouse is where a 1946 race riot and 1927 lynching took place.

The video was pulled down by CMT after four days on the air.
