Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has a busy year planned.
The progressive metal band, already on a nationwide tour supporting their 2019 album ‘Fear Inoculum,’ just announced an additional 20 concerts with special guest Elder in January and February 2024.
That includes two huge back-to-back gigs at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, Jan. 12 and Saturday, Jan. 13.
That’s not all though.
In September, Keenan announced ‘SESSANTA,’ a tri-headliner tour featuring his side project groups, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer along with Les Claypool’s Primus.
On the ‘SESSANTA Tour,’ the three groups “plan to share the stage simultaneously with ‘musicians from the trio of bands joining each other’s performances throughout the concert,’ along with each band having its ‘own distinctive set,’” according to Consequence.
If you want tickets for either tour, you can grab tickets for both as soon as today.
Although inventory isn’t available for Tool’s tour on Ticketmaster until Friday, Oct. 13, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Tool band members
Although they’ve been together for over 30 years, Tool has kept its lineup fairly intact.
Here are the vets you’ll see onstage at the show of your choosing:
Maynard James Keenan: vocals (1990–present)
Adam Jones: guitars (1990–present)
Danny Carey: drums, percussion (1990–present)
Justin Chancellor: bass (1995–present)
Tool special guest
In winter 2024, Tool will be joined by Elder.
Originally from MA, Nick DiSalvo’s heavy group is known for their sprawling ten-minute songs like the rockin’ “Gemini,” trippy “Illusory Motion” and anthemic “Sanctuary.”
Their entire discography can be found here.
‘SESSANTA’ special guest
Primus, the third group on the ‘SESSANTA’ tour, is well-known for composing “South Park’s” catchy theme song.
However, Les Claypool’s long-running strummy, funk metal group has done a lot more than record that iconic intro.
Over the past ~40 years, the band has released nine albums with evocative, ironic titles like “Pork Soda,” “Sailing The Seas of Cheese” and “Brown Album.”
If you want to familiarize yourself with their back catalog, you can find all Primus music here.
