We can’t wait to see what year two holds.
After a sterling debut season, 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever are returning for more hoops starting with a preseason game May 3.
Expectations are sky-high for the 23-year-old point guard coming into 2025. In her inaugural run, Clark was instrumental in securing the Fever’s first playoff berth since 2016, led the league in assists and three-pointers made and was named to the All-Star and All-WNBA First Team. To top all of those bona fides in her sophomore season may be near impossible.
Unless Clark switches up her game, of course.
“From a basketball perspective, we have to make sure we help her diversify her defining ability so that she’s not predictable,” new Fever head coach Stephanie White said on the Good Follow podcast.
“We can’t be so predictable with so much athleticism, speed, quickness and with so much game plan geared toward her.”
If you want to see what Clark takes to the court live this year, tickets are available for all upcoming 2025 Fever games including seven against Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky, four with Paige Buecker’s Dallas Wings and a quartet alongside Breanna Stewart’s reigning champion New York Liberty.
Best of all, some of them are dirt cheap.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one home game at Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse was $12 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Now, that’s a steal.
Away games have tickets starting anywhere from $54 to $192 before fees.

About the Indiana Fever
While a lot of ink has been spilled about Clark, the rest of the Fever roster is certainly notable. This season, the “Point Goddess” will be joined in the starting lineup by center (and fellow former No. 1 pick) Aliyah Boston, shooting guard Kelsey Mitchell and forwards DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard.
In 2024, Clark and Mitchell both led the team with 19.2 points-per-game. Also, of note, Boston averaged 8.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.
New head coach — and Indiana’s 1995 Miss Basketball (!) — Stephanie White comes to the Fever from the Connecticut Sun. In her two seasons with the Sun, the club advanced to the playoffs both years but lost in the semifinals both times.
