LONDON — British singer Amy Winehouse has checked out of rehab and is “raring to go” on her summer tour across Europe, E! News reported Thursday.
“Amy Winehouse has completed her assessment at the Priory clinic in London and will continue as an outpatient,” her rep, Chris Goodman, said in a statement.
The British soul singer had checked into the clinic last week, reportedly at her dad’s insistence.
Winehouse allegedly downed a mini bottle of vodka at a liquor store on the way to the facility “in typical Amy style,” an insider told People magazine.
Now that the 27-year-old has finished her swift treatment, she is prepping for a series of summer shows starting June 18.
“She is now looking forward to playing shows around Europe this summer and is raring to go. She would like to send a huge thanks to all her fans for the messages of support she has received over the last week and can’t wait to see them,” Goodman added.
The Grammy winner has been in and out of rehab and has dealt with multiple legal woes for assault and drug possession throughout her music career.
She only returned to full-scale performing in January, after taking a two-year break to battle her addictions.
