“Upfront Tonight” correspondent Jane Wells has an exclusive interview tonight with Gilbert Andrews – who was imprisoned in Mexico and is suing the American Red Cross for $34.2 million.

Andrews says the agency was responsible for his imprisonment after he and the Mexican Red Cross were involved in a lawsuit accusing Andrews of fraud.

Andrews also blasts former Red Cross chief Elizabeth Dole, who’s expected to run for President.

“Upfront Tonight” airs 7:30 p.m. on CNBC.

Ally strike

Monday’s “Ally McBeal” scored its best-ever across-the-board ratings on Fox and on Ch.5.

Nationally, “Ally” (9-10 p.m.) grabbed 16.9 million total viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen data released yesterday.

Locally, “Ally” notched 1 million households on Ch.5 – the market’s highest-rated show.

ABC’s “And the Beat Goes On: The Sonny and Cher Story” nabbed 16.8 million viewers, helping ABC win the Monday-night prime-time race.

ABC will hold an open casting call for a comedy pilot, “Odd Man Out,” Saturday (10 a.m.-4 p.m.) at Theatreworks/USA Chelsea Studios, 151 W. 26th St., 6th Floor.

Producers are seeking male teens, ages 14-16. Picture and resume are required.

Disney Channel is also auditioning musical kids for its Disney’s Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra at Columbia University (March 4-8).
