CALL it “The Bachelorette” on steroids.

Lifetime will produce a pilot called “The Big Match,” a dating show in which 100 men compete for the affections of one woman.

It’ll be hosted by Cat Deeley (“So You Think You Can Dance“).

The show, shot in a studio, will feature the guys going through a series of “compatibility challenges” in their quest to win the hand of the fair lass – not unlike ABC’s “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” shows.

The show is also being developed in the UK by London’s ITV network.

It’s based on a format from the producers of “Phenomenon.”

The show’s producer, Granada, has a longstanding relationship with Lifetime, having developed the TV movies “Custody” and “More of Me” for the cable network.

It’s not known at this time when “The Big Match” would air on Lifetime if the network goes ahead with the project.
