SHELLY Fireman’s newest restaurant, Shelly’s New York, opens in two weeks at the former Motown Cafe at 104 W. 57th St.

Meanwhile, Central Park Cafe, located just across 57th St., is a month away from completion. The large space – formerly Wolf’s Deli – will have 200 seats and feature diverse fare from sushi to pizza. It will be run by the Bice and Sbarro groups.

Chef Tom Valenti has left Butterfield 81 amid rumors that he was fired by owner Ken Aretsky, who was said to be unhappy with the chef.

“We are chef-less,” says an employee when asked who’s manning the grill. “Ken hasn’t hired anyone yet.”

Filling in for the time-being is Dave Kolotnick, a sous chef whom Aretsky brought over from his midtown restaurant, Patroon. Aretsky could not be reached for comment.
