A TOUCH OF MADNESS
The new name’s a mouthful – but so is the latest cocktail at 99 Hudson Street Restaurant and Sports Lounge.
The bartenders at TriBeCa’s newly fancified sports lounge, formerly the Sporting Club, have created a signature tipple in honor of the NCAA basketball tournament, March Madness.
Dubbed “The Big Dance,” the 10-ounce doozy is a vodkapalooza of Stoli OJ, Stoli Vanilla and Stoli Raspberry, with a dash of weasel juice (Chambord).
It’s part of an extensive martini list created to complement the new black-and-chrome décor that is studded with no fewer than 45 flat-screen TVs showing nearly every sport imaginable.
The owners boast having more screens per square inch than any bar in the country – but they all seem to blur into one after a few of those giant martinis.
