ANOTHER CNNER HEADING HOME
CNN’s Washington bureau chief, Frank Sesno, is the latest to bolt the cable news network during its continuing shake-up.
In a memo to CNN staffers and obtained by The Post yesterday, Sesno, a network senior vice-president, announced his departure and noted that colleagues should keep their focus on news.
“Ultimately, CNN will be judged and valued by the information it conveys and the integrity it embodies. It should be as smart as the people who work here. It should never forget its middle name: News,” he wrote.
Sesno has overseen CNN’s Washington bureau since 1994. His job involved editorial decision making for coverage of the White House and Congress.
