The documentary “Armadillo” is yet another look at the war in Afghanistan — this one through the eyes of Danish soldiers stationed at a base named Armadillo.

When they’re not fighting Taliban “ninjas,” the soldiers are watching porn. But the high point — if that’s the word — of Janus Metz’s film shows scenes that shocked the folks back in Denmark: After the unit kills five Taliban fighters with a grenade and a barrage of shots, they pose, smiling, with the corpses. Viewers will be reminded of similar incidents involving US troops.

Otherwise, there’s little new in “Armadillo.”
