MONDAY’s Astros-Cardinals playoff game, featuring a ninth-inning meltdown by the Astros, helped Fox score some solid baseball numbers against stiff competition.

Game 5 of the NLCS, highlighted by Albert Pujols’ ninth-inning home run, saving the Cards from elimination, averaged 10.6 million viewers.

Those are good numbers, considering the game was up against “Monday Night Football” (13 million viewers) on ABC.
