SUMMER in New York is a dance bonanza. At Lincoln Center, you can even do a little dancing of your own under the stars.

For the less energetic, there’s plenty to watch. American Ballet Theater’s spring season at the Metropolitan Opera House, which ends June 28, features the appearance June 11 of St. Petersburg’s Kirov ballerina, Diana Vishneva, as Juliet.

And New York City Ballet brings its nine-week season to a close at the New York State Theater with George Balanchine’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” starting June 24.
