POST readers have spoken, and they want comedic cut-up Bernie Mac to play Donald Trump in a new drama The Donald is pitching to NBC.

In a Post Web site poll yesterday, about 26 percent of those who voted said the “Bernie Mac Show” star should get a new hairdo and play the billionaire on the proposed “Dynasty“-like drama.

“Passion of Christ” producer/director Mel Gibson came in second in our poll, drawing about 22 percent of the vote.

More than 1,100 readers responded to the survey.
