AMERICA is “Crazy in Love” with Beyoncé Knowles.

“Dangerously in Love,” the debut album from the Destiny’s Child singer, was boosted by her hot summer single “Crazy in Love” to take the top of the charts. The disc sold 316,846 copies its first week out, according to SoundScan.

Michelle Branch followed at No. 2 with her brand-new “Hotel Paper,” the follow-up to her multi-platinum debut “The Spirit Room.”

Rappers Three 6 Mafia‘s “Da Unbreakables” was the only other album to debut in the top 10, coming in at No. 4.

Luther Vandross is still going strong – his “Dance With My Father” is No. 3. And, at No. 5, Metallica broke the million mark with “St. Anger.”
