THIS week marks National Bike to Work Week, but there are still many urban cyclists who hesitate pedaling to work because they don’t want to leave their cycles on a rack.

Montage’s new X-series line of folding bikes allows for easy storage in an office closet. Folded and slipped into a carrying case, the bicycle can be smuggled into most buildings that don’t allow bikes.

The X-series bikes are full-size and collapse with uncomplicated, quick-release levers. Bikers aren’t burdened with added tools to carry.

Montage CX was made for city streets, with a shock-absorbing seat post and gel saddle, to make pothole-filled rides less bumpy.

The CX is a bit heavy, weighing in at 30 pounds, so it’s cumbersome taking it up and down stairs.

But once you get it there, this fold-up has the advantage of being easily stored in a tiny New York apartment.

And, if you’ve biked too far or if you’re caught in the rain, you can pack it in the truck of a cab.

The CX retails at $449.99. For more info see: http://www.Montagueco.com.
