Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are red-y and returning.

The Hollywood couple stepped out on the “SNL” 50th anniversary special red carpet on Sunday. It marked their first red carpet appearance since beginning a legal war with Lively’s “It Ends With Us” director and co-star, Justin Baldoni.

An hour into the show, Reynolds alluded to the drama in a segment where Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took questions from the star-studded audience in Studio 8H.

“Ryan Reynolds, how’s it going?” Poehler, 53, asked.

Reynolds quipped: “Why? What have you heard?”

In December 2024, Lively, 37, sued Baldoni, 41, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a public smear campaign against her.

Baldoni has denied all Lively’s accusations and countersued her and Reynolds, 48, alleging defamation, extortion and more. Both stars have denied the other’s claims through their respective lawyers.

While walking the carpet ahead of “SNL50,” the “Gossip Girl” actress was seen hugging comedian Amy Schumer.

The “Kinda Pregnant” star is among those who have voiced their support for Lively. 

“I believe Blake,” Schumer wrote on her Instagram story on Dec. 22, the day after the New York Times published an interview with Lively where she first leveled her claims against Baldoni. The “Jane the Virgin” alum has since sued the Times for defamation, allegations the paper has denied. 

Lively was also seen backstage at “SNL50” with Dakota Johnson. The “50 Shades of Grey” actress is slated to star in an adaptation of “Verity,” written by “It Ends With Us” author Colleen Hoover. 

As part of Baldoni’s defense, the actor released never-before-seen text messages and a website outlining the timeline of events while filming the movie, claiming Lively took measures to gain control over the film.

On Feb. 12, Lively’s lawyers served subpoenas seeking evidence to prove that Baldoni and his associates allegedly launched a smear campaign against her.

According to Variety, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile were all subpoenaed by Lively’s lawyers, Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson, and asked to provide phone records belonging to Baldoni, his producer Jamey Heath, Wayfarer Studios co-founder Steve Sarowitz, publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis management expert Melissa Nathan.

Lively’s spokesperson said in a statement, “Phone records belonging to all of the individual defendants will expose the full web of individuals who were involved in the smear campaign against Ms. Lively.”

“Such records will provide critical and irrefutable evidence not only about who, but also about when, where, and how their retaliation plan came together and operated,” the statement added.

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called Lively’s subpoenas a “massive fishing expedition.”

“They are asking for every single call, text, data log and even real-time location information for the past 2.5 years, regardless of the sender, recipient or subject matter,” Freedman’s statement to Variety read. “This massive fishing expedition demonstrates that they are desperately seeking any factual basis for their provably false claims. They will find none.”

The legal war between Lively and Baldoni shows no sign of cooling down, with mediation seeming unlikely. On Friday, attorneys for both stars told Judge Lewis Liman that “settlement discussions would be premature,” according to a joint letter filed in court and obtained by Fox News Digital.

Lively and Baldoni’s trial is set for March 2026.
