‘BRAVO’ COMES ALIVE
PRO-wrestler turned movie star The Rock is in talks to play cartoon character “Johnny Bravo” in a live-action film, according to studio sources.
Bravo is the dim-witted, Elvis-voiced, womanizer made famous on the Cartoon Network, while The Rock, a.k.a Duane Johnson, is the WWE star.
The network is currently mulling the possibility of turning Bravo into a live-action film as early as next year, sources told The Post.
A Cartoon Network spokeswoman and Johnson’s reps declined to comment.
Johnson, 30, skyrocketed into the mainstream last year playing Mathayus the Scorpion King in “The Mummy Returns.” He reprised the role in his own blockbuster film, “The Scorpion King,” earlier this year.
