LOS ANGELES — “Bridesmaids” director Paul Feig said Thursday he would be open to doing a sequel to the summer flick after the Kristen Wiig comedy struck box office gold.

Though Feig told The Hollywood Reporter talk of a second film is still “very unofficial” he added, “we’re all open to it in a way. We just have to figure out a way to make it right.”

“The minute you make a movie that does very well, studios want to do another one,” he added.

So far the raunchy comedy, produced by Judd Apatow, has grossed more than $230 million at the box office since its release in May.

“Saturday Night Live” star Wiig co-wrote the script with screenwriter Annie Mumolo.

Wiig also starred in the movie alongside former “SNL” cast member Maya Rudolph.
