CABLEVISION is radically reshuffling its channel line-up and adding Fox News Channel and MSNBC.

Effective on Dec. 3 in the Bronx and Dec. 11 in Brooklyn – the cable company has banished HBO from its cushy slot on channel 6 to channel 82. Spanish-language Univision moves to 6.

CNN is also gettingdowngraded, from channel 8 to channel 25.

MSNBC is being added on channel 23, which was an unused, while Fox News Channel, at 26, is bumping the History Channel all the way back to channel 47.
