Actress Casey Kramer, daughter of Oscar-nominated producer and director Stanley Kramer, has died. She was 67.
Her family did not disclose the cause of death, according to Variety.
She passed away in her Chicago home.
Stanley Kramer, who died in 2001, was known for producing such films as “High Noon” and “The Caine Mutiny,” and for directing such films as “The Defiant Ones,” the 1967 Best Picture nominee “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner,” starring Sidney Poitier, Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, and the all-star comedy “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.”
Born in Los Angeles to Stanley and his second wife, the late writer and film executive Anne Pearce Kramer, Casey made her acting debut in her father’s 1979 movie “The Runner Stumbles,” starring Dick Van Dyke.
She also made appearances in “Behind The Candelabra,” “A Rose For Emily,” “Mississippi Requiem” and “Darkness in Tenement 45.”
