TWO really good casting coups died quietly over the weekend:

* Harvey Kietel is not going to join “Criminal Minds” to replace Mandy Patinkin.

Joe Mantegna was signed late Friday to take the lead role.

* And Kristen Bell, star of the late lamented “Veronica Mars,” says she won’t be joining the cast of “Lost.”

She reportedly didn’t want to move to Hawaii.
