CBS News on Friday posted a clip of “60 Minutes” correspondent Bob Simon’s final report, which will air during this week’s broadcast.
In the story, Simon traveled to a tobacco plant in western Kentucky to report on the development of ZMapp, a promising drug to combat the Ebola epidemic in western Africa. He finished the story on Feb. 11, the same day he was killed in a car accident on the West Side Highway.
Simon’s daughter, Tanya, is the producer on the segment, which will air Sunday at 7 p.m. on CBS.
