LUDACRIS hooked his second No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200 with “The Red Light District.”
The Atlanta-based rapper/actor’s follow-up to “Chicken -N-Beer” sold 322,000 copies its first week on the streets, according to Nielsen/SoundScan.
“Speak,” the debut disc from the ubiquitous Lindsay Lohan, hit No. 4 its first week out, for the only other debut in the top 10.
Last week’s No. 1, “MTV Ultimate Mash-Ups Presents Jay-Z/Linkin Park: Collision Course” dropped to No. 9.
U2‘s “How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb,” held steady at No. 2.
Eminem‘s “Encore” climbed from No. 4 to No. 3, and Volume 17 of “NOW That’s What I Call Music!” rounds off the top five.
And Diana DeGarmo, last season’s “American Idol” runner-up, saw her debut disc, “Blue Skies,” open at No. 52.
