If you love theater – but hate coughing up big bucks for tickets – Playwrights Horizons has an offer you can’t refuse.

For each of its 2002-03 productions, the off-Broadway company will offer one night’s performance for what you can pay for it.

A limited number of tickets – cash only, two per customer – will go on sale at 7 p.m., one hour before curtain.

The first pay-what-you-can night is Sept. 6 for Keith Bunin‘s play, “The World Over,” at the Duke Theatre, 229 W. 42nd St. The next is Nov. 15, for Christopher Shinn‘s “What Didn’t Happen,” at the same theater.
