‘CSI’ DRUG BUST
IT didn’t take a crime scene in vestigator to figure out “CSI” star Gary Dourdan was breaking the law when he was found sleeping at 5 a.m. in a car full of illicit drugs.
Dourdan was arrested on drug charges Monday night by Palm Springs police when a cop found him in a car parked on the wrong side of the road and “subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, Ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs and paraphernalia,” according to a police report.
Police said Dourdan was “disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,” a spokesman told “Access Hollywood.”
Dourdan – who has played investigator Warrick Brown since the show debuted in 2000 – is reportedly leaving “CSI” when his contract expires next month.
Police said that he posted $5,000 bail and was released from jail a few hours after his arrest.
CBS officials declined to comment.
