CBS will re-air Wednes day’s episode of “CSI: NY” tonight – after the episode’s dramatic finish was interrupted when CBS News broke in with news of Yasser Arafat’s death.

“An overly aggressive CBS News producer jumped the gun with a report that should have been offered to local stations for their late news,” CBS said in a statement yesterday.

“We sincerely regret the error.”

CBS will re-air the episode, titled “Outside Man,” tonight at 10 on Ch. 2.
