The Fox reality show highlighting everyday hoofers averaged over 9 million viewers Wednesday night – promising

a genuine summer hit for the sophmore reality show.

Preliminary indications were that the ratings built every half-hour through the two-hour episode -always a strong sign.

It was the most-watched show of the night.

Also, ratings were up by about 7 percent over last summer’s first season.

“Dancing with the Stars,” the last big summer hit, also took a season for viewers to get used to before it took off.
