DAPHNE and Frasier may ride again. Sort of.

Jane Leeves who played daffy Daphne on “Frasier,” has landed a pilot on The WB and Kelsey Grammer has been asked to direct an episode.

If the show is picked up by the network, it could air as soon as next fall.

On the new show, tentatively titled “Best Laid Plans,” Leeves plays an Ivy League-educated career woman and single mother whose planned pregnancy by a sperm donor goes awry.
