ROBERT De Niro is getting into the real ity TV business.

The actor’s first foray into reality TV will be in partnership with R.J. Cutler, who produced the FX hit “Black. White.,” and will air on NBC.

Everyone is tight-lipped on the specifics of the show – not unusual in the world of reality TV, where ideas can be quickly knocked off by competing networks.

“It’s a very simple idea . . . a simple concept,” Cutler told Variety yesterday. “Amazingly, nobody’s ever done it before.”

De Niro himself will not be in it, but he’ll act as executive producer.

Production is expected to begin soon, most likely in L.A.
