It was fun while it lasted.
For the first time since Jeremy Lin started playing for the Knicks last month, the TV ratings for a Knicks game dipped slightly.
Ratings for the team’s runaway victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers were down by about 15 percent versus the previous few games when the hysteria over Lin was building fast.
Still, the ratings are nearly three times higher than in the first 20 games of the season — before the 23-year-old Harvard grad was thrust into the lineup at the last minute because of injuries to other starting players.
Remarkably, from his debut on Feb. 6, the ratings for Knicks games on MSG have jumped every game — until now.
