DIANNE Doctor was fired as Ch. 2’s news director yesterday after four years at the third-place station. She previously worked at Ch. 4.

“We greatly appreciate the service and dedication [Doctor] has given WCBS-TV and we wish her the very best,” a station spokeswoman said.
