HALF of America thinks that viewers should have a say in whether TV series are cancelled.

A Harris poll commissioned by cable arts channel Trio found that about 67 percent of all Americans do not think TV networks should depend solely on ratings when determining program cancellation.

Nearly half of all Americans do not know what a “Nielsen family” is (they’re the homes who have an electronic box attached to the TV recording what they watch). In fact, one in 10 people believe that a Nielsen family was a comedy series in the 1950.
