‘Who’ loves ya
The time is right for “Doctor Who.” The long-running British series recently broke ratings’ records when a new season premiered on April 23. In Saturday’s episode, the Doctor (Matt Smith) follows a Time Lord distress signal to a mysterious asteroid in a Bubble Universe — could there really be another living Time Lord out there? Broadway vet Bill Irwin returns as Haskell. Tracee Ellen Ross plays Langston’s ex-wife, Gloria. With Marg Helgenberger and George Eads.

Following a murder that appears to be a hate crime, Teresa (Jennifer Beals) risks tipping off Gibbons (Delroy Gibbons) to her big-picture plan by boldly taking on the Chicago Police Department’s corrupt “meritorious” promotion system. Meanwhile, Jarek (Jason Clarke) is forced to face his own reality when Vonda (Devin Kelley) receives an anonymous package that reveals too much about the his family. Co-starring Matt Lauria.
