DR. Phil shrinked out the O.J. Simpson robbery case yesterday – calling the two-bit players from the Las Vegas stick-up “slimy.”

Simpson pal Thomas Riccio, who inadvertently captured the armed robbery on tape and provided the evidence that convicted Simpson last week, said he meant to record one of the “slimy” sports memorabilia dealers O.J. was convicted of robbing.

“You’re recording people, and that seems pretty slimy to me,” Dr. Phil said in the show, which aired yesterday. “Maybe it’s because you’re dealing with slimy people . . maybe you shouldn’t deal with people like that.”

Prosecutors claimed Simpson staged the robbery last year so he could get back sports memorabilia from two dealers and dodge court-ordered restitution in neighboring California, where he still owes $33 million on a wrongful death verdict.

“We felt for a very long time that the pressure on him would finally catch up with him,” the sister of Ron Goldman, who OJ was acquitted of killing along with ex-wife Nicole Brown, told the show.
