DREA MOVES TO WISTERIA
DREA de Matteo, who won an Emmy for her work as Crazy Horse manager Adriana on “The Sopranos,” has joined a new family — the ladies of Wisteria Lane.
De Matteo, who is signing as a series regular on “Desperate Housewives,” will take a cue from her old gig in the role of matriarch of a newest Italian family on the block, sources revealed to EW.com.
Casting is currently underway for the roles of her landscape architect husband and neurotic son.
With Nicolette Sheridan’s departure from the show earlier this season, de Matteo is sure to fill the vixen void left by the insatiable Edie Britt.
