‘DANCING With the Stars” dancers Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy — who were supposedly set to be married next year — have broken up, according to Karina’s spokesman.

It’s the second show romance that has gone down in flames for the fiery Ukrainian Karina, 31. She had a two-year, live-in relationship with her former star partner on the show, Mario Lopez.

It ended last summer, just in time for her to take up with Maksim, 29, also from the Ukraine. No reason was given for the split.

The couple is rehearsing now for the new season on “DWTS,” which debuts later this month.

The E! channel Web site broke the news of the split late yesterday.
