ABSTRACT:
Just two years old, Maya is often referred to as “the best Mexican restaurant in the city.” That lofty priase is due primarily to the talents of owner/chef Richard Sandoval, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, who was later named chef of the year in his native Mexico.
Sandoval’s lively and well-appointed salmon-colored dining room is adorned with fresh flowers and Mayan artifacts.
