FILM critic Roger Ebert, who also co- hosts “Ebert & Roeper,“ will undergo radiation treatments for a malignant tumor on his salivary gland.
Ebert told his newspaper, The Chicago Sun-Times, that he will begin the treatments later this month after returning from a trip to France.
Ebert, 61, underwent thyroid gland cancer surgery in Feburary 2002 and surgery for cancer on his salivary gland last February.
“I decided that I would much rather send out an announcement and tell the truth than have rumors floating around,” he said.
