ELECTION-night coverage just got a little funnier.

Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert (“The Colbert Report“) and Jon Stewart (“The Daily Show“) will host specials on election night (Nov. 4) beginning at 10 p.m.

It’ll be called, strangely enough, ” ‘The Daily Show’ and ‘The Colbert Report’ Election Night 2008.”

Stewart and Colbert will provide a (somewhat satirical) alternative to the staid network coverage – both broadcast and cable – as America decides on our next president.
