LOS Straitjackets put surf music guitar – reminiscent of the Ventures – to such seasonal favorites as “Here Comes Santa Claus,” and “Feliz Navidad” on their latest disc ” ‘Tis the Season for Los Straitjackets” (Yep Roc).

The four Nashville rockers also add two tunes of their own: “Christmas in Vegas” and “Christmas Weekend.”

Perforrming live, the bandmates stretch Mexican wrestling masks over their faces to create quite the festive scene.

If you’re yearning for a beachside Christmas to escape the cold, head to Park Slope’s Southpaw (125 Fifth Ave.; [718] 230-0236) on Friday, where Los Straightjackets will be heating up guitars rather than roasting chestnuts.

TOMORROW: Loser’s Lounge continues to toast Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel at Fez (380 Lafayette St.; [212] 533-2680) Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. It’s not your father’s tribute show.

THURSDAY: Max’s Kansas City Project, a non-profit organization to fund the creative arts, will host “All for the Love of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” a battle of six unsigned bands at CBGB (315 Bowery; [212] 982-4052).

Acts include power rockers the Jana Peri Band, ’60s garage pop throwbacks Morgan Taylor Band, the Slags, Cheerleader, the Others and Father Divine. The original Max’s Kansas City, a legendary ’60s and ’70s Manhattan rock club, closed in 1981.

FRIDAY: Slobberbone, from Denton, Texas, perform

p-rockin’ rootsy tunes from their latest, “Slippage,” at Mercury Lounge (217 E. Houston St.; [212] 260-4700). Openers include Will Johnson and Slick 57, the latest kickass cow-punk entry from Dallas.

Members of Slick 57 say they believe in “the roller derby, the ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^hurkey turkey, hardware stores, Hank Williams and hand-me-downs.” Don’t we all? Also good is their hard honky-tonk album, “The Ghost of Bonnie Parker.”

Sunday: “History of Girl,” a new live concert series, premieres at Northsix (66 N. Sixth St., Williamsburg, Brooklyn; [718] 599-5103) with songwriter Mary Lou Lord and Janeane Garofalo.

The comedian will conduct a Q&A followed by a concert by Lord, who found a following playing a mix of originals and covers (from Dylan to Big Star) in the subways of London and Boston in the 1990s.

SATURDAY: The Hangdogs are as close to a house band for the Rodeo Bar (375 Third Ave.; [212] 683-6500) as you can get, but if you go only once a year to see these lovable pups, go now.

The annual Hangdogs Holiday Hayride glides into the honky-tonk venue “replete with all the blasphemous, inane crap we do every year” on Saturday, then does an encore performance – the Hangdogs Hungover Hayride – on Sunday, Dec. 22.

That’s their Christmas gift for you: two opportunities to hear songs such as “A Patrick Swayze Christmas,” “A Lonely Jew on Christmas,” “Christmas in Jail” and many more.
