FORMER Dallas Cowboy- turned-sports- announcer Michael Irvin is jumping ESPN.
Irvin has spent nearly two years as a regular on Fox Sports Net’s “Best Damn Sports Show Period,” and will now appear on ESPN’s “NFL Sunday Countdown” starting this fall.
Irvin played 12 seasons as wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys and was a key member of three Super Bowl championship teams.
Meanwhile, former NFL cheerleader turned “Best Damn Sports Show Period” regular Lisa Guerrero is heading back to the sidelines – joining ABC’s “Monday Night Football” as the telecast’s main sideline reporter. She takes over for Melissa Stark who left after three seasons last fall.
