FORMER ABC News anchor-turned-jour nalism-professor Carole Simpson may stump for Hillary Clinton‘s campaign. Simpson says she would leave her teaching job at Emerson College if she decides to campaign for Clinton.

Simpson stirred up controversy a few months ago when she endorsed Hillary in front of her 14-student journalism class – “Road to the White House” – class while attending a Clinton rally. Simpson offered to resign the next day after her endorsement was reported in the press.

But Emerson officials declined her resignation, saying professors are allowed to share their political views with students.
