Mervyn LeRoy’s early talkie “Little Caesar” (1930) features Edward G. Robinson (above) as ruthless mobster Rico Bandello and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. as his sidekick. It’s the one in which Robinson, realizing that death has overtaken him, exclaims: “Mother of God, is this the end of Rico?” The crime yarn unspools Monday at 5:30 p.m. and May 14 at 2 p.m. at the Museum of Modern Art; moma.org.
