In 2002, Brendt Barbur was hit by a bus while riding his bike in Manhattan. The experience inspired him to start the Bicycle Film Festival, the sixth edition of which is unreeling through Sunday at Anthology Film Archives, Second Avenue and Second Street. More than 50 bike-related 0shorts and features from 12 countries are on the agenda, including the underwater short “Lucas Brunelle Adventures” (above).
