KILLER 7
By Capcom for GameCube, PS2
Release date: July 2005
The last thing you want to do is call Harmon Smith a cripple. He may be wheelchair-bound but he can physically transform into any one of his seven deadly personalities to take care of business. You’ll take third- and firstperson control of said schizo manifestations to mow down combustible zombies and other baddies. The control system is, um, original if not perplexing, but the graphics are amazing. Expect tons o’ blood-spurting violence, tons o’ swearing and tons o’ sex – i.e. tons o’ fun.
TOMB RAIDER: LEGEND
By Eidos for PS2, PSP, Xbox
Release date: Fall 2005
Those thighs. That ponytail. And attitude to match. Lara Croft, a.k.a. Tomb Raider, is a gamer’s fantasy femme fatale par excellence – and she’s back with hip-side pistols, short shorts and all. Although information on its storyline is sparse, TR:L’s official homepage (www.tombraider.com) has plenty of pictures to drool over. This time, Lara will explore ancient tombs, jungles and snowy mountain ruins. We have faith in our gal.

Use your wits and, more importantly, your slash-happy scythe to send demons back to hell and make daddy proud. Yikes!
