RICKY Gervais, star of “The Office” and, more recently, the HBO series “Extras,” is going to make a guest appearance on “Arrested Development,” according to reports.

For fans of the cultish comedies, Gervais’ appearance on “Arrested” is a marriage made in, um, Hollywood.

No word on when it will be taped.

He is already signed to write an episode of the “The Simpsons,” as well.
